Your MSP company needs an “About Us” page that tells potential clients and partners the right information and doesn’t make finding that information difficult. There are six primary things you need to have on your “About Us” page:
Information About Who You Are
First and foremost, your MSP company needs to give prospective clients an effective conceptualization of who you are. Are you an MSP that specializes in server builds or cloud migration? Do you specialize in both? What is your “reason to be”? What’s the core thesis to the “essay” of your business? Are you developing outward, are you comprehensive, are you niche? Answer these questions.
Data Which Recommends You Over Competitors
Use Yelp! reviews, use reviews acquired through other means— use anything you have available to you which shows that your operation is superior to other existing options out there. You want to make your value as a services provider over competitors objectively desirable using available facts.
Exposition Pertaining to What You Do
One of the best ways to show who you are and why you’re better than competitors is to tell those visiting your “About Us” page what you do in specific terms. Ultimately, what your MSP does for clients which makes you valuable involves bringing a proportionate level of value to customers based on what they pay you. Ideally, your clients should get twice the benefit compared to associated tech costs, minimum. Sometimes you’ll be able to get more, sometimes less; but as you tell what you do, show how what you do brings value to clients. Use case studies if you have them— this can really help paint a picture.
Longevity of Operation Data
How long has your business been around? The longer the better, but you need this information available even if your MSP is burgeoning. As a matter of fact, being in the early stages of establishment could make you more desirable to some clients, and when you’re starting out, you only need a few dependable customers to solidify operations.
Information Pertaining to How You Do What You Do
Telling clients and potential clients how you provide business doesn’t “give it away”. As a matter of fact, this is likely going to make you look more straightforward and dependable in the eyes of prospective customers. If you’re an MSP who provides BDR via the cloud, tell clients how you do that. Do you have an on-site server array that acts as a cloud solution, or do you use other cloud-based solutions and act essentially as a middle-man? Your clients need to know, so they better understand what they’re getting involved with, and feel more secure.
Effective Contact Information
Last but not least, you should have contact info on your “About Us” page— this makes things easier for everyone and shows that your business is straightforward.
An MSP company with an explanative “About Us” page looks more professional and is likely to get more ideal clients.
