When your readers open their mailbox, they’re going to judge which ones to open by the subject line and what’s in it for them. Since they get deluged with emails, your subject line has to show a clear benefit to them. Clarify your point in the subject line, and then continue it into the email body.

After hitting their hot buttons with the subject line, get into the meat of the email message right away. You don’t want to take too long because you can lose your readers’ attention in seconds.
They don’t want to scan through your email to figure out what you’re trying to say. Put a clear message at the top of your email saying what you want.
Are your messages buried at the bottom of your emails? If so, pull them to the top. Also, include a CTA at the top and bottom of your email.

3. Write Short Sentences
Keep your sentences simple. Your readers are busy people with a thousand things on their minds. They want short and simple sentences so they can scan through your content.
By eliminating superfluous information, you can convey the important information in a shorter time. Try writing in the active voice to keep your content easy to read.
4. Use Plain Language
Avoid using industry jargon, or you might lose your audience. Think like your readers and use the phrases and words they would use. Verbosity has no place in your email messages.
5. Reread Your Message
Before clicking on the ‘send’ button, reread your content as if you were the reader. Would you know what the message wants you to do? For example, if you want your reader to sign up for a free webinar, make sure that it’s crystal clear from your message.
Track Your Email
After you follow the five steps to writing an effective email, don’t sit back and wait to get an answer. You can set up email tracking to find out when your readers open your emails, if they clicked on your CTA links or if they viewed any attachments that you included.
Tracking also lets you improve your emails by giving you insight into what’s working. It also lets you send follow up emails to readers who opened your previous emails.
One last thing when creating your emails is to include an unsubscribe link. You want to make sure your readers have the choice to receive your content or not. This also lets you know which readers are quality leads interested in the services of your MSP company.
